Backups. I told Dropbox to forget a hard drive I now want to restore

I started to back up files to Dropbox - this included my Lightroom files on an external hard drive. I realised there would be insufficient room so I stopped the hard drive backup and I told Dropbox to “forget this device”. I now have increased my accounts back up capacity but cannot persuade Dropbox to “see” the external drive once again. More than 30 days have elapsed.

Hi there @graham7r, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

I know this might sound mundane, but have you tried unplugging the external drive in question and re-plugging into your computer?

Do you maybe see this drive listed on this page

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there.

Unfortunately this didn't work. Someone at Dropbox is working on it. I will report back later
