Can I update Dropbox to Mac 13 on the free plan?

Can I update Dropbox to Mac 13 on the free plan?

I recently bought a new MacBook Pro. I got a message from Dropbox advising that it is better to update my Dropbox for various reasons. I cannot find any reference, even in a direct search, to whether the update (vs. upgrade) is available for free accounts or only for paid accounts. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Hi @Desert Angel, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Most likely, it is referring to the recent new version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS, on which you can find more details here.

This does not require a paid subscription to upgrade to that version of the app.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
