Can't add external HDD for backup

Hi Community,
I'm a MAC-user and I'm trying to add an external HDD to Dropbox in order for it to back it up.

I follow all their instructions accordingly and when I'm in the required "Dropbox Backup" I'm according to the instructions just suposed to add a HDD by selecting (highlighted section in att. picture)  " Add new security copy" (add an external unit or install dropbox on another computer) 

But there is nothing to click on here, I'm not offered to select anything at all. I've also already assigned full security read/wright-rights for Dropbox on my MAC

Has anyone encountered the same problem and know how to get required access for an external HDD?

Hey @Xiappel, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Can you please let me know which version of Dropbox you have installed on your computer?

You can see that, when hovering your mouse over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar.

Also, what is the formatting  and the capacity of your external HDD?

Let me know and we'll go from there!
