Delayed Syncing on Bootup

When I booted up my desktop today, my DropBox files were not syncing at first (the little green checkmarks weren't there next to the folders).  About ten minutes later, the files were syncing.  The same thing happened on my laptop.  Is this normal, or should DropBox be syncing immediately upon bootup?

Hi @DBill, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

Generally, once the computer has fully booted up and the Dropbox desktop application and the background services are running, then it begins to check if there are any new files to sync.

 

Approximately, how long does it take for your computer to fully load all the startup apps?

 

This will help me to assist further!
