Desktop icons haven't synced

Desktop icons haven't synced

I'm setting up a new Win 10 laptop. Dropbox seems to have imported my files nicely, but I use my desktop a lot as a handy way to grab frequently used files, and the desktop shortcuts to those files have not appeared. How can I fix this?

Yes. At the time I asked the question it had finished syncing, and the desktop shortcuts were not showing. I wondered whether I would have to recreate them one-by-one, so looking at my 'desktop' file in file explorer I clicked 'create a shortcut' on one item. Bang! They all appeared. I don't claim to understand it, but at least it's sorted.

Hi @KrisHughes, let's jump right into this!

Just to make sure we're on the same page, do you mean that they haven't appeared in your Dropbox folder yet, or that you're not able to locate these shortcuts on your device's desktop?

Is your app updated while we speak? What is its syncing status. Feel free to send any screenshots my way, so I can have visual too.

Keep me posted!
