Drop box capture is not working for part of the screen no more

With update Dropbox Capture is not working for part of the screen no more. It just capture all screen.

We fixed it this bug. Would you mind updating to the latest version of the app? https://dropbox.com/capture/download It should be v53 on your Capture's preferences.

Hi @mikemxmv, thanks for messaging the Community!

As this is a feature currently in alpha, I'd recommend getting in contact with the support team directly for further assistance.

Once you get a ticket ID from the automated response, please let me know the number here so I can locate it in our system!

Hi Youcef!

 

I love Dropbox Capture but since a couple of weeks back it doesn't work anymore. It fixates itself to the upper left corner of the screen and you can't start it properly or use it. I've updated to the latest version 56.0. I'm using a MacBook Pro Retina 13", Dual-Core Intel Core i7 running MacOs Monterey version 12.0.1.

 

I've reinstalled the app several times, logged out from the app, rebooted the Mac etc. but nothing works.

 

Is this something you can have a look at? I really would like to continue to use the app since it's a very good tool.

Super sorry about the issue you are having with Capture. Would you mind reaching out to support-capture-feedback@dropbox.com? Someone from my team can assist you there over email. Would be great also if you could share when this issue started and if you use multiple monitors.
