I use Dropbox on my laptop and desktop and have a shared folder with my wife's desktop.  When I save a file or create a folder on the desktop it appears on the laptop but when I create a file or folder on the laptop it does not appear on the desktop computer.  It's available online and I have to download it.   Dropbox is in Startup on the desktop.  It may be that it's not actually signing in on startup on the desktop since when I go to Dropbox online on the laptop I don't need to sign in.  I can't see any way to make the app on the desktop update from the cloud.  Any ideas please?

Hey @Brian39, I hope you're doing well!

 

It sounds like one of your devices might not be syncing properly. Have you checked their both up and running? 

 

If so, what's their syncing status? Also, you mentioned the desktop is in startup, can you explain if you get any errors when you put your credentials there, and try to sign in?
