Dropbox app telling me to unlink devices

Dropbox app telling me to unlink devices

Hi all,
I uninstalled and reinstalled my dropbox app and after I signed in it told me that I have no room on my device and that I need to unlink a device. I have plenty of room and this phone is the only device that's linked. Everything was working great for 10+ years but I uninstalled and reinstalled to try to lower some space just to see if I could do it. Now I can't get in

Hi @Daniel D.47, thanks for posting on our Community!

Could you please try removing any devices that might be putting you over your account's limit through your Security page and then install the app on your mobile device anew?

Thanks!

Had the same issue with me and it was pretty tough to tackle this problem. The space is plenty in my phone device too but it constantly saying to unlink devices.

Maybe, it will get resolved soon. It just needs some time to recover.

If it says unlink devices that isnt related to quota - it means you have more than three devices connected to Dropbox and are a free user. You need to unlink some at www.dropbox.com/account/security and then it will let you relink

I want to give an update here. I just reset my phone and all is doing well now. [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines], Dropbox is not saying to unlink devices.
