Dropbox backup has stopped TimeMachine fom doing backup!

Unbelieveable! just resolved Dropbox not backing up my documents because of Adobe Creative Cloud folder and now Dropbox is interfering with Time Machine and is not allowing Time Machine to back up my Documents – it has turned it into and an Alias with 39KB!

Hey @onward, sorry to hear about this. 

In general, backing up the same files both with Dropbox and Time Machine may cause conflicts, so we usually suggest selecting one service.

If you face any issues though with your Dropbox backup after that, let me know and we’ll have a closer look.

The whole point of me joining Dropbox Backup was to have both synced Cloud and Hard drive retrospective backups.

Hi @onward, we appreciate the feedback on this matter. As my colleague suggested, having multiple services to backup and store files elsewhere could conflict with one another depending on the methods they use.
