Dropbox iOS app crashes when enabling "Make available offline"

Dropbox iOS app crashes when enabling "Make available offline"

Hello,

My dropbox app crashes when I attempt to make a folder available offline. There is also an Upgrade button next to the offline slider. App also crashes if I press it. I can make individual files available offline just fine.

Is making a folder available offline a premium feature now?

ios 16.1.1

Hi @unarted, let's jump right into this!

As you pointed out correctly the ability to make an entire folder available offline is only available to customers on Dropbox Plus, Family, Professional, and Business plans.

However, the ability to make individual files available offline is available to all Dropbox users. Which plan do you use on your end?

One more thing I wanted to ask, is when you say that the app crashes, do you mean it's unresponsive, or closes entirely?

Let me know more!

Hi,

It appears to spawn a dialog window that shows 'Loading' for a moment then closes entirely.

Hi @unarted, thanks for the added info!

In your app's settings after you click the gear icon under the Account tab, you should have the option to clear the cache of the app. Can you give this one a go?

I'd also suggest that you uninstall the app, restart the device, then re-install.
