Dropbox is not syncing and I also can't uninstall the program

Hei there,

 

i don't know anymore what to do.

My Dropbox is not synching anymore and also i can't find it in the windows search, but it shows up as a programme.

If i want to install newest version it says it's not available.

If i try to deinstall it says its not working.

 

anybody can help me?

I’m sorry to hear about this issue, @michihf

 

If I get this right, the small Dropbox icon doesn’t show in your system tray at the bottom, correct? 

 

Can you please send over a screenshot of what you see when trying to remove the Dropbox app from your computer? 

 

That’ll help me assist you further.

Hello Nancy.

Yes exactly, the Icon is not there and even if i search dropbox is not showing up.

wanted to make a new installation also failing. here the screenshot (is german sorry, says deinstallation failed)

Hi Jay,

 

Tried that too, then i get attached message (Installation failed, Installationprogramme was not able to be started)

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?
