Dropbox is telling me to disable backup, but backup is already disabled.

I'm trying to delete a folder in my dropbox (Mac OS, latest OS version, latest dropbox version), but I'm getting this:

So I go into here:

 Select manage backups, but have no options to disable anything (because it appears not to be setup):

 

How can I delete this folder if it requires me to turn off a feature that is already off?

Have you tried checking your Backup page to see if you can disable it from there? Also, if I were you, I'd try the steps my colleague mentioned under this thread.
