Dropbox never finishes syncing

I am running Dropbox on Fedora Linux.  It's been working for a long time but as of two days ago, it never stops syncing.  Previously, all files were up to date but then it just says syncing.  I've let it run 24/7 for two days and it's not ever going to finish.

 

How can I tell what is wrong?

OK, I found the information on fixing the hard links and permissions.

 

I clicked the fix hardlinks and it said that worked.

I clicked the Fix Permissions and nothing happened.  I assume it takes a while.

 

But this still doesn't seem to be working.  Are there not any logs I can read?  What logs I find appear to be in binary.

Hi @cb m., could you also send me a screenshot of the app's version, if possible? 

 

Just want to make sure the app hasn't reverted back to the beta version, which could be the culprit of this.

Hi @cb m., it does look like it's on the beta version of the app, as it says xxx.3.xxx. To install our latest stable version, visit this page and switch ‘Early releases’ to Off: Afterwards, re-download the app from here.
