Cannot find Dropbox emblem, only a folder in Finder.

Hey @aaacjk, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

If the Dropbox icon is missing, it seems like the application might not be running on your computer.

 

Can you please try reinstalling the Dropbox application, to see if the Dropbox icon comes back to your menu bar?

Hi there.  It is running.  When I try to reinstall app, I'm told it's already installed.  I tried to uninstall it on Clean My Mac but, while CMM can no longer find it, Dropbox insists it's still there, and it seems to be, but without any emblem.  There is something amiss somewhere, which may or may not be my own fault. I would like to uninstall dropbox on my iMac, MacBook and iPad and reinstall my accounts on each of them.  Otherwise I'm going to have to think of an alternative.

In that case, can you please try a more advanced reinstall of the Dropbox app, to see if that helps?
