Hi @AntoninoNicoletti, let's look into this!
Do you get any error messages when you open the Dropbox desktop app?
Does the app itself crash when you try to open it?
And can you check the small Dropbox icon in your menu bar, to see the sync status of the app?
Keep me posted, and we'll go from there.

>Do you get any error messages when you open the Dropbox desktop app?
No, it can be at any time
>Does the app itself crash when you try to open it?
It can but this is not systematic
>And can you check the small Dropbox icon in your menu bar, to see the sync status of the app?
Yes the Dropbox icon is working as expected.
Thank you for your help.
Thanks for the update, Antonino!
What is the sync status of the app, when you hover over the Dropbox icon with your mouse, please?

That my files are up to date, with a short list of the recently updated files.
Hi @AntoninoNicoletti, happy Thursday!
One more question: If your app is working as expected, when do you notice this behavior, and how is this affecting your work?
Any screenshots of this are more than welcome too.

This is seldom. I cannot understand which type of action I am performing is triggering the crash notification: it is the MacOS built in reporting crash system that is displayed on my screen. In the information window appears similar information as the one provided in my first post (it was just the top of the message, it continues on several pages). I will have to wait the next crash to post a screen shot of the window...
Hey @AntoninoNicoletti, sorry to jump in, but have you tried reinstalling the desktop app at all since you first noticed this?
If you did and this persists, you might also want to perform a clean, advanced reinstall as well.
Keep us posted with any updates!

I've started seeing this since upgrading to Ventura. It happened half a dozen times in the first couple days. I did a reinstall, thinking I might not have the current version. The crashes stopped for almost a week, but it's crashed 3 times today. I'm planning to follow the instructions for the advanced reinstall above. Hopefully, that solved the problem for the OP.

Hey @liz4cps, thanks for joining the discussion here and sorry to hear you're also having issues with this.
Let me know if the issue persists after the advanced reinstall and we'll take it from there, if needed.
