Every hour I get a popup that says :Dropbox MacUpdate quit unexpectedly -EVERY HOUR FOR THE LAST SEVERAL WEEKS !! Why???? Why??? HELP!!
There don't seem to be any sync icons, meaning that Dropbox desktop application isn't running or syncing.
Please could you attach a screenshot showing what you see when you click the Dropbox desktop application icon near the clock in the menu bar.

Here it is
Thanks for the screenshot, @Dragonboy4712!
Can you please right click on one of your files within the local Dropbox folder, and select the “Make online-only” option, if that’s available? Are you seeing a small cloud icon next to this file afterwards? You can also send us one more screenshot of what shows, if you prefer.

I have a Mac mouse that does not have a left and right side, just one solid Mouse
I could not see a 'Make On-line only' option anywhere.
Why did you want me to click on that option anyway. What was your thought about how that would help?
The dropbox staff has been asking me do do this and that with no explanation as to how that would help. So far nothing has.
I've also asked before what a sync icon looks like and what does it mean, but no response yet.
In order to right click on a Mac device, you can press the control key from your keyboard and click on your files directly at the same time; this should have the same effect as right clicking.
Also, I can see that Jay has sent you a link with all the syncing icons for Mac here.

No they don't
Why not?
What does it mean?
What should I do?
I don't have any other devices, just the computer. Do they not have sync icons because there is no where to sync them to?
Jim
Hi @Dragonboy4712, it seems the app is up to date, so you should be able to see your syncing icons.
Have you tried re-starting your device? Feel free to also try these steps, and let me know if you notice a difference then.
