Getting an error on Safari when downloading a photo from Dropbox into Facebook on my Mac

When I try to download a picture from DropBox into FaceBook on my Mac it fails every time. I think the message says something like "dropbox  not compatible with Mac o/s  safari". Is there a fix for this?

What version of Safari are you using?

Hey @snkysnake, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

 

Could you clarify the exact steps you take to do this and also send us a screenshot of the exact error you've been getting?

 

Also, have you tried clearing your browser's cache lately or even another browser?

When I am in Facebook , I start a comment or reply , and then when I go to add a picture to the reply, I click on the picture icon, go to Dropbox, select my picture, click upload (or doubleclick pic ) , and I get a FB message that "no picture selected. "

Sorry to jump in here, @snkysnake.

 

Are you only having this issue when selecting photos from Dropbox or other locations on your computer as well?

 

Have you also tried this with a different browser?
