When I am working on a document...

How do I make that happen? If I click "hide," they both disappear. But I want to retain (only) the little round blue icon.
Thank you. CNGrove
Hi @CNGrove, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
If you click the Badge icon once, does the box disappear?
This will help me to assist further!

Greetings, Jay, and thank you for replying to my question about the "badge."
Until about a year ago, when I opened the document stored on DropBox it appeared on my screed together with a little round blue badge on the righthand side. I liked to see it there.
Recently, the badge has been accompanied by an unnecessarily large, annoyingly intrusive box containing options in which I have no interest. My hope was to make the intrusive box disappear while retaining the little blue badge. But "hide" gets rid of them both.
I guess I have clicked "hide" one too many times because today, when I checked a DropBox-stored document so that I could answer your specific question, I am seeing nothing at all - no badge, no box - on the right side of my documents. (These are .docx documents.)
If you know how I can get the little badge without the intrusive box, I will take whatever steps you recommend. Thank you, Cornelius
Hey @CNGrove, sorry to jump in here, but could you perhaps send us a screenshot of the box you're referring to, so we can have a visual?

I have a screenshot all set to send you, but I can see no way to attach it to this reply.
Please advise. Cornelius - "CNGrove"

Hey @CNGrove, thanks for the screenshot!
It's going to sound trivial, but have you tried restarting your device? If so, did you notice the same behavior after the reboot? Also, which version of our app do you use at the moment?

Good morning, Megan.
