Hi,
In Win 10 x64 I see I have a normal Dropbox Folder plus in my primary C: drive I see another Dropbox folder with exactly the same as in the other folder. 117 items. 200 GB
This is not in any of my other devices, just this one.
Which one can I delete and how can I change it in Settings if that is where it was instigated.
Thanks
oz
Hi @ozstar, thank you for posting!
You can check the current path of the Dropbox folder, by accessing the Desktop app's preferences, and going to the sync tab.
You can see the path, on the bottom of the tab.
Could you send us a screenshot of that, and also one for each of the Dropbox folders?
With this information, we will be able to help you further!

I see in Prefs that the C:/My/Droipbox is selected. I don't know how as I just want it at the top of the Explorer tree as normal.
I attach screen shots of Explorer DP and C:\My\Dropbox
oz
Prefs
DP in C: Drive - Not wanted
DP in Explorer tree - wanted
Both DP Folders in Explorer
Thanks for the screenshots @ozstar!
In the second screenshot, you see the Dropbox folder, where it is located in your hard drive.
In the third screenshot, it is a shortcut of the same folder, on the quick access menu.
So, it is not safe to delete the folder on C:\My\Dropbox.
Hope that helps!

So the Dropbox entry in top of the Explorer tree is NOT a folder.
It is the shortcut to the C:/My/Dropbox folder.
Is that correct?
Yes, that is entirely correct!
Let us know if anything else comes up.
