Hey @Gary C.30, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.
Can you just clarify what it is that you'd like to do? Do you want your Dropbox files to be downloaded to your Macs automatically?
If so, you'll need to install the Dropbox desktop app to your computers. You can do so through this link.
This application will sync your Dropbox files to a Dropbox folder in your Finder and any changes you make to the files there, will sync to your account online and to each computer.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Yes clear instructions as to how to set up Mac time machine back up to my Dropbox account
If the files from your Mac time machine backup are saved to your computer, and you also have the Dropbox application installed, you can just copy or move them into the Dropbox folder.
Any files you add to your Dropbox folder, will sync to your Dropbox account.
