Sorry, I should've been more clear. If Dropbox is installed but not running, does the problem still occur? I'd assume yes, but would like to double-check. Thanks!
If dropbox installed and not running, it is still hanged the file explorer.
Only complate uninstalled fix it.
Odahviig, if you would be so kind as to try a stable build (v13) again and see if this is still an issue (as I changed some configuration on our end), it'd really help us debug. Thanks!
Can you restart file explorer by right-clicking on Windows Explorer in the task manager and selectin restart? Thanks so much for your help!
Explorer hangs when I create a new folder. This is when Dropbox is installed. Happens all the time. Windows 10 Pro 14393.576
Thanks for the report. We should be rolling out a new stable build in the next few days that may address this -- can you upgrade, restart Explorer and let us know if things improve? Alternatively, you can download a beta build (17.3.* ) now, too, as it's pretty much the same code.
