MAC os user I want to have dropbox local file to external drive

hello guys I need you're help I'm a new user of dropbox and I used it to sync my music via rekordbox.

my problem is that with this action dropbox copy and download my entire music collection to my internal ssd about 600gb of music. .

so what I want is to change the dropbox file location to my external ssd ....

but when I trying to do this I get a message that I have to format my drive to (Windows and Pc formats ) \now my drive is ExFat

If you're using these steps to move your Dropbox folder, you should also make sure that your external drive is an HFS+ or APFS-formatted hard drive with extended attributes not disabled, since you're on Mac.
