Missing Folder Object Information in MacOS

Missing Folder Object Information in MacOS

Hi, after the installation Dropbox overwrites the folder object information. Any chance to do not?

MacOS Ventura 13.0.1, M1

A folder has normally the subtitle e.g. "5 objects"

Now i have the text: "Available offline"

Hey @Rahrahrally, welcome to the Community and happy December!

I'm not quite sure I understand the issue at hand. Could you elaborate a bit on your query?

If you feel that a screenshot would help, feel free to attach one in your response.

Thanks!

Hi Walter,

thank you for your reply.

I hope this fits better and helps:

folder.png

right side: Folder with object information under the folder name (dropbox: only online)
left side: the dropbox info: "Available offline" overwrites the folder object informations

I would prefer that I see the folder object information, like before the "update". The small green symbol is enough. Any idea to change that back?

I want all of my files on Dropbox to also be local on my MacBook. I just found out that Dropbox changed how they handled files and it's all on the cloud now. That's not useful to me.

So I clicked on "Make available offline".

Now all of my files and folders say "available offline" underneath them where I would have had important information show there like the resolution of an image or how many items are in a folder. I want the later. Seeing the words "available offline" written under each file is useless to me and cluttered.

How can I fix this?

So it's not possible to see file/folder info when it's stored locally?

At this time, it wouldn't be possible to do so.

Hey Dropbox-Team,

I opened that issue months ago ... communities live from the fact that you then also make something.

So, any news?

Thanks!
