As in the subject: there are no Dropbox options in the Finder when I right click — no Smart Sync, no option for creating a link to a file, no nothing, as if Dropbox isn't installed. Other than this, the app (v.161.4.4923) appears to be functioning correctly. But I'm really getting tired of these problems...

Hey there @jlaguna, sorry to hear about this.

I know it may sound obvious, but have you rebooted your device since you first noticed this?

If you did and this persists, can you please let me know if you happen to be running any third party apps that could be causing issues on your computer?

In that case, could you have a look at this discussion and let me know if any of the information there helps?

If you could also send us a screenshot of how it looks on your end, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Yes it is obvious and yes I have rebooted. 🙂

Google drive was running, but I tried the procedure in the linked discussion to no avail. I can't think of any other programs that might be relevant. Note that things are especially weird because I do get a Dropbox context menu for files that are NOT in my Dropbox hierarchy (where I don't really need one) as opposed to files in my Dropbox hierarchy (where I definitely need one). Here are a couple of screenshots:

I'm planning to ditch Dropbox if this isn't fixed.

Hi @jlaguna, since we can't open any links for security reasons, could you attach the screenshots to your next reply using the camera-like icon?

Also, what is the app's syncing status at the moment?
