Not able to install dropbox with 'off-line' sync on new MacBook Pro

Not able to install dropbox with 'off-line' sync on new MacBook Pro

Qique

While having around 900Gb disk space available on my MacBook Pro installing Dropbox tells me I have no disk space available to enable off-line syncing. To stress that the selection of directories I want to have available is not bigger that 3Gb !!?? Hence when installing Dropbox it grays out the off-line syncing option and forces me to go for on-line syncing only.....

I am a long-year user of dropbox and have never experienced this.

I am running on Osx Ventura on a MacBook Pro 2021, where the SSD is encrypted with FileVault (APFS).

Would appreciate some feedback from the community.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Qique, how are you today?

Interesting behavior. Do you know which version of the app, you're trying to install to the device?

In addition, could you send me a couple of screenshots, in order for me to have a visual of what you see on your end, upon installation?

Have you tried using the offline installer by any chance?

Keep me posted!
