I have the latest version of Monterey for Mac (12.4). I need to install the Dropbox "Desktop app" for my new freelance job and while it drops into the downloads folder, it doesn't install. I have tried opening it many times. Any ideas on a workaround?
Many thanks!

Are you downloading it from here?
Hey @Editor2, thanks for letting us know about this.
Can you try the link that Rich gave you, to see if it works?
If not, try from this link as well.

I tried that link earlier to download Dropbox itself, which similarly did not work (the download did not install). Finally, three days ago, I found a workaround on a users forum that involved logging in through Google and agreeing to share my Google contacts with Dropbox; I agreed in desperation but it felt ill-advised. So I have the Dropbox application. Now I need the desktop app, or I can't work with this new employer. But it won't install.
Thanks!!
I have the same problem. I can't install the DB desktop app. Awful.
I am not able to install, even from the install link.
Hanna! The 2nd link worked. I think installing offline is the secret.
Thank you!
That link did not work for me.
