Please Make Dropbox Context Menu Reasonable

Please Make Dropbox Context Menu Reasonable

I am reposting this request ("idea") because for some reason it was closed - even though this annoyance has grown.

FYI this prior "idea" appears at:

https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-ideas/Please-combine-context-menu/idi-p/477438

It would be great if the Dropbox-items in the context menu could be combined to one "Dropbox >" item with a sub-context-menu.

The right-click context menu when selecting a file in Windows File Explorer is getting ridiculously long.

When I right-click a file, TEN Dropbox related items appear, making the total context menu as long as my screen.

So I suggest that the Dropbox items are all put in one Dropbox-item, just like when you right click and select "open with >" and THEN get all your options. That would be a huge improvement.

I used the feature "Make online-only" and "Make available offline" very often to manage my limited local harddisk space because Windows smart storage sense is not very 'smart' and not very responsive. The only place that I can access these 2 commands is through the right-click context menu. And as the poster has shared, it can be frustrating because the context menu will look through ALL the apps that has entries in the context menu to populate it before presenting to you and it can take an awful long time when the right click is made.

So having to live with dropbox features such as the 2 features I mentioned above only accessible through the context menu does impact my daily productivity and it slows down my file storage  size management duty. I hope dropbox can move away from putting stuff inside the context menu or at least have an alternative way for us to access same features elsewhere in order to improve our productivity.

Hi all,

Bumping this idea ! Although it was originally for Windows Explorer, I find it equally annoying on macOS Finder, please combine all menu entries into a submenu Dropbox ! It'll only add one click for us and will make our life easier !
