Hi, after installing Dropbox on my Mac with Big Sur, a question mark icon appears on the finder. I tried to restart it but nothing has changed, how can I do to fix this?

Could you try quitting the Dropbox desktop application and restarting it? You can also try reinstalling the app without uninstalling by using this link.

I am facing the same annoyance. Please assist, anyone.
Same problem here on two Macs with Big Sur. One of the Macs (Mac mini M1) is fresh installed with the current Dropbox installer.
I am having the same issue as well.
Hi everyone, could you try installing the Dropbox desktop application with admin privileges to see if this helps at all to repair the app?

I have followed the instructions in the provided link and the issue still persists.

After doing some digging from my side, I did come across something that might be of some help to remove this icon.

@Daphne The link provided works on removng the icon. I was just wondering if it was possible to have the Dropbox icon shown instead of the question mark.
