Actually right and left click in the system tray have the same behaviour, let it be useful and open the menu with right click (or at least include an option to do so) so it's easier to access preferences or close the program.
Hi @GIPeN, if you Ctrl-Click on the Dropbox icon, you'll see the context menu to show the same options available when you click it normally.
Would this existing feature be suitable to your requirements?

Well, yes, I didn't know it and there is no hint to it.
Is a hidden option, I still think it should be right click which is a consistent behaviour in windows.
