Hej,
I recently updated to the new Dropbox version for my M2 MacBook.
I am running:
Dropbox : v164.4.7914 (DropBox Basic)
macOS : Ventura 13.0.1
Since the system moved my files from /Users/MyUser/Dropbox to /Users/MyUser/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox I have my data online while I am online.
If I make a right click on a file or directory and try to make it manually "offline available" it has no success 😞
Any ideas anyone?
Hi there @ThuataCuSith, thanks for posting on our Community!
I'm not quite sure about the issue at hand, can you elaborate a bit for me please? Are you, for example , getting an error or is the desktop app just not responding?
Any additional information is more than welcome!

I am getting no error message.
After clicking "make offline available" the Dropbox symbol indicates it is synchronizing, but that stops after a few seconds and after turning my wifi off, the files are still not available.
Hi @ThuataCuSith, when the syncing stops, does the icon on the file change from a cloud icon to a green circle with a white tick in it?

No, the cloud stays...
Hi @ThuataCuSith, hope it’s OK to jump in.
You mentioned in a previous post that the syncing stops when turning off your WiFi.
Does the Dropbox app still fail to download your files and make them available offline, even if it remains connected to the internet with your WiFi on?
