There is a red "1" overlaid on the dropbox icon in my notification area
.
But the status says up to date. It's distracting, as if something is wrong that needs fixing! How to clear the "1"?
I'm running Windows 11, Dropbox v159.4.5870, and this has been an issue for some months.
(sorry if not posted in best "location" - seems like there should be one for sync issues)

That means you have a notification in the Dropbox app. Open the app and click the Bell icon.
Thanks, Rich, but no notifications.
Hi @WilliamB13, could you attach a larger screenshot showing more of the sync history and and the activity page, while hiding any personal info?
This will help me to assist further!

I don't see what could be learned from more sync and activity history.
But ... when I looked at the history and scrolled to bottom, the "1" flag went away.
I had looked at the sync and activity history but had not scrolled down to the bottom of the history before!
Thanks for the update, and for letting us know that the issue has been resolved.
