Business advanced data transfer API calls

I’m unable to contact support through chat (admin console says chat is closed) also contacting through mail doesn’t work as I’m not able to fill in the “device” so using the forum instead. 

Can’t find a definitive answer on the forum or google about the data transfer api calls. 

I’m trialing a Dropbox business advanced account to check if its usable for backup. As a test I’ve uploaded 112GB which uses 4% of my api calls.

Questions: Is the api call limit for data transfer agents only applicable for uploading data? Or for both uploading and downloading? 

Any way to lift the restriction to get unlimited API calls? If not what about the initial seeding of Dropbox? In my case I would need to upload 80TB, after that, I can consider if the API call limit would be sufficient for me.

Hi there, the API limit of 25,000 calls is only for uploading.
 
There is a separate Dropbox Business plan for unlimited API calls, I’d recommend that you contact our sales team for more information about that.

Well I tried and contacted sales but until now haven’t received any answer on my inquiry. Instead of directing me to sales explain the “no api limit option” Dropbox got.

Thanks! That’s the answer I was looking for. Sadly not the answer I wanted so Dropbox will not be a solution for me.

Glad to hear this helped @Iguana9999

If you choose not to continue with your plan after all, make sure to cancel your trial so you don't get charged for it since you won't be keeping it from what I understand. 

To do this, go to this page (assuming you're the team's admin) and go to the bottom of the page to cancel your trial:
