Set up folders -within dropbox business- only online for alle teammembers

how can I set -within management environment for all teammembers- all folders to 'online only' with the help of smart synchronization?

Hey there (@kverweij-viak), assuming that you’re the team admin, please bear in mind that you can set your team’s default setting for newly synced content (🕸️➡️desktop) following the steps outlined here, (however individual members can change the default setting for newly added content on their desktop):
 
Spoiler
  • Admin default: the default setting chosen by the team admin.
  • Local: all new content downloads to your computer.
  • Online-only: manually download files to your computer when you need them
If you’ve invited users with existing Dropbox accounts, then I’d recommend unlinking & relinking their accounts to their desktop once, as it recreates the local database
