Stopping Users from sharing folders Internally

Is it possible for the admin of a standard Dropbox Business Account to stop users from creating folders in dropbox and sharing them with other team members? I am aware there is an option to stop sharing externally to those outside of the team but is it possible to stop sharing internally too?

Our system requires all documentation across all projects to be available to a handful of people and we have been handling this by creating a Team Folder per project and giving access to whoever needs it. Some users however circumvent this by creating their own folders and sharing them meaning there is no oversight as to who has access.

I don't want to stop people from creating their own folders for their own use, just to stop sharing them so they have no choice but to ask for a Team Folder to be created.

Hey James (@James0192), while you can’t prevent your team members from sharing content internally at the moment, I understand the importance of this extra functionality to your workflow & I’ve made sure to pass your interest up the ladder for further consideration. Please bear in mind that our higher level technicians are collecting & tracking all similar requests to inform ongoing development of new features. 
From there James, it would be worth noting that you can keep track of your colleagues’ sharing actions on your end (i.e. I’m assuming that you’re the team admin) by creating an Activity Log through your admin console narrowing down the results to members/ date-range &c according to your needs. If you see that someone has been trying to bypass the pre-established specifications you’ve set for each project, you can Sign in as user on their account & move the share under the relevant Team Folder, so as to maintain things as neat as possible & keep everyone on the same page.
