Dear All,
I have a file which is 400GB capacity. If I want to transfer this file to Dropbox Cloud for one time, can I do this action if I joined the "Professional of Dropbox" Plan? Please inform me anymore. Thank you for your assistance!
Best Regards,
Wilson Choy.

Dear Jay,
Nice to receive your reply! However, I see the requirement of Dropbox Professional Plan. It states that Dropbox Transfer is up to 100GB per transfer.
Therefore, if my file has 400GB capacity, how can I copy this file to the Dropbox Cloud?
Actually, size of my file is over 100GB maximum allowance, so I think my file can't copy to Dropbox Cloud successfully. Dropbox must block my transfer for this file.
Do you think so? Please inform me anymore. Thanks!
Best Regards,
Wilson Choy.

Dropbox Transfer is a feature used to transfer files to another person. It's not a limit associated with uploading to your own account.

Dear Rich & Jay,
Nice to receive your reply! Actually, the requirement of Dropbox Professional Plan shows that Dropbox Transfer is up to 100GB per transfer, but it doesn't state uploading or downloading limit. It really confuses my thinking. I think your company should modify the requirement of Transfer Capacity.
Anyway, you informed me that uploading has no capacity limit, but downloading has capacity limit such as 100GB for Professional Plan. Would you mind to inform me whether Dropbox data downloads to anyone (include my computer) that also has 100GB limit per transfer? Please inform me anymore. Thanks!
Best Regards,
Wilson Choy.

I'm afraid you're still misunderstanding. There is no limit when uploading to or downloading from your own account, up to your space availability. You can easily upload or download a 400GB file to your own account using the Dropbox app on your computer.
Dropbox Transfer is for sending files to people when you don't need to collaborate on them or to people that don't have Dropbox. In this case, there's is a 100GB limit per transfer. Think of Transfer as one specific method for sharing a file.
Dear Rich,
Finally, I understand your meaning. There is no limit when uploading or downloading files from my own account.
However, I don't understand why some people don't have Dropbox, but Dropbox data can still send files to these people.
Would you mind to inform me how to transfer files to people that don't have Dropbox? Thanks!
Best Regards,
Wilson Choy.

Dear Jay,
Nice to receive your information! For example, if I want to use the Dropbox Plus Plan, it has 2TB capacity and send up to 2GB per transfer. Would you mind to inform me whether I can still upload a 400GB file to Dropbox Cloud? Please inform me anymore. Thanks!
Best Regards,
