All Folders to Cloud; one to cloud and hard drive

My wife and I share a Dropbox account.  On my laptop, all files are uploaded to the cloud and maintained on my hard drive.  Her new Microsoft Surface Go has insufficient hard drive space to maintain a copy of the files.  However, I want one folder, her personal folder, to both upload to the cloud and maintain on her hard drive as well so she can access that file without the internet.  How do I do that?  It seems to be an either/or setting.  Thank you

Hi @Lacamastraveler, thanks for messaging the Community.

Just for clarification, are you sharing the same account credentials for that Dropbox account with her, or are you sharing a folder to her Dropbox account?

Are you currently on a paid plan or Basic plan?

This will help me to assist further!

Thank you.  I am on the paid plan and she accesses Dropbox with my login credentials.

Sharing account credentials would be a violation of the terms of service, and can result in your Dropbox account being terminated.

Is she able to mark files as online-only using these steps in order to free up space on the machine?

Okay, I am totally confused.  I read I could share with up to six family members.  Tomorrow I will read through what you sent.  If I have questions can I ask you?  Thanks.

Hey @Lacamastraveler, sorry to jump in, but the info you mentioned is valid for the Dropbox Family plan. Are you on that one or another, individual plan?
