On Mac OS is it possible for all members of a team to have the same mount point with Finder integration so that the absolute paths are the same for everyone?

Mostly on 12.3 Monterey. The folder is mounted in a variety of places for each individual, not usually iCloud synced.

Currently, it should be technically possible to do what you're doing, however, it would require you to manually change all the local drives to be the same, and configure the Dropbox desktop application to move the Dropbox folder to those specific locations.

Even when doing so, there may still be unexpected events that could change the location of the Dropbox folder. My advice would be to take caution when making these changes.

This is now working with consistent paths between users as long as they call their drives the same off Volumes/xyz.

However I just bought a bigger drive and moved my DB folder to it, but it was called the same (for reasons above) DB internally has now appended with "1", is there any way of changing this back?

Hey @Bluebicycle, sorry to jump in here, but could you clarify where you're spotting the (1) exactly?

Is it next to the Dropbox folder or the drive itself?

Also, when you say you moved your Dropbox folder, can you go through the steps you took exactly?

Last but not least, is the desktop app running and syncing properly in your menu bar?
