Dropbox stopped syncing after signing out of the application and then back in

Dropbox stopped syncing after signing out of the application and then back in

Good morning everyone, I have been running Dropbox for a long day, but unfortunately, I signed out the account, and when I signed back in, it would not sync. I dont know what could be the issue. Has anyone else come across this problem before? Please help

Hey @ShermanGoldner, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

I assume you're referring to the Dropbox desktop app, right?

 

Can you let me know what the sync status and version of the app is?

 

You can see this info, by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar.

 

Let me know and we'll go from there.

Thank you for reverting back. Yes its my Dropbox desktop app. But after posting the thread here, I was searching online for resolving the issue and came across some useful guides like this one.

 

The Dropbox stopped syncing because the storage was totally full.


When I was trying to sync, the VPN was also enabled.

 

After deleting some unnecessary files and folders and disabling the VPN, I was able to fix it.

Now I have no longer any issues while sinking it.
