No Permission to Share Folders or Create Transfers

No Permission to Share Folders or Create Transfers

Four weeks ago, I have suddenly been restricted access from sharing files and creating transfers.  We have a company account where I am part of the family and don't share many folders or files very often.  I have tried sporadically over the last few weeks to share a file or folder or create a transfer and I still do not have permission.  This is really frustrating as I need to send certain files to external parties that are too big for email and am not able to - can someone please help?

I have read other threads and there doesn't seem to be a solution so far that I can find.

All documents and information are basic marketing guidelines and our logos.  There doesn't seem to be any logical reason why I have had permission taken away and it's been over a month now.

Hey @kboyd11, sorry to hear about this.

It sounds like your shared links may have been banned. How long have you been having this issue?

Did you receive an email from Dropbox informing you about it perhaps?

Any additional information is more than welcome!

Hi Walter,

It first started over a month ago.  No email from dropbox alerting me to any issue with bandwidth or how I was sharing.  It certainly lends itself to me being banned but I have no idea why.  I have only been sharing files and images with our web developers in India for the  preceding few months - no really large files and certainly not any files that would have been flagged or deemed inappropriate.

I have been trying sporadically over the last month to create a transfer and get the same 'no permission' message.

Thanks,

Kellie

And the images I shared for the website are from an online platform we pay to subscribe to and have access to photo stock.

Thanks,

Kellie
