Hi @prisch, could you check your desktop preferences to ensure that the same email is written there, as the one you use to login on the Dropbox site?

Hey @prisch, thanks for posting on our Community and happy Friday!

You'll just need to download and install the desktop app on your new computer and from there make sure to log into the same Dropbox account as the old device. Let the desktop app sync your files until it's 'up to date' in your menu bar and you should be good to go.

I hope this helps!

Thanks Walter.  I now have it synced on dropbox.com, but not on the desktop.  There is only has 2 files. When I look through finder, still only the 2 files, but on dropbox.com I have all of the files.  What am I missing? It seems as if the app and website must be using 2 separate passwords.  I don't know how to use the desktop app to change its password.

Sorry to be so dense, but I surely appreciate your great help.
