Hello there,

 

As I saw on the event viewer, on the DropBox app, there is a continuous error occurring since 17/11/22 that creates a huge problem on synchronizing my files. I can provide screenshots on the matter. The IT of my organization cannot intervene and referred me here to solve this issue. I cannot work properly and I have to work locally which creates a huge issue between me and my team.

Could you send us a screenshot of the app's status and version as shown in your menu bar/system tray so that we can have a visual too?

And has it been stuck at syncing this exact same number of files for some time now @sgk29 ?

 

If you click on your profile's picture and click on the 'view sync issues' button, do you see anything reported there?

It keeps adding more files day by day

Hey @sgk29, just to make sure that you're using our stable build, and not a beta one, can you locate your Dropbox icon on your task bar, next to your WiFi and hover your mouse there? 

 

That should give you some numbers, which state the version of the app. If I were you, I'd also try to sign out of the app, then back in.

Hey @sgk29, could you also check if there's a proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router restricting traffic to these following Dropbox domains. 

 

Also, please try fixing your hardlinks and permissions as outlined here and let me know how it goes.
