My Online Only files on my Mac used to be automatically activated when double-clicked or accessed through an app (either as an "Open File" or placed in something like Indesign or even just uploaded to a Facebook post, Beginning about last week, they now require me to actively go to the Finder window, right-click to change them to "Local" and then make use of them. this has crippled my workflow, making Dropbox almost useless as anything other than bulk storage.
Is there a new setting or something I am missing? This corresponds with them now showing as "Zero bytes" in my finder.

I am having the same problem! A couple weeks ago I got an alert from Dropbox that you were aware of the issue (it might be Mac only) and were working on a fix. Now I can't find any info on that. Please help!
