question about photo upload

I am interested in upgrading to a plan so I can store my photos... but before I purchase anything I want to know if I upload all my photos to dropbox, will they be in chronological order based on the photos date? The thing I hate about icloud is they are not in order and that is why I'm looking to switch.

Once you've uploaded your files to your Dropbox account, you'll be able to use the available sorting options outlined here. 

Apart from that, you'll be able to set naming conventions or use the multi-file organize feature and the automation options that suit your needs.
