"Deleted element" error

"Deleted element" error

Hello, I'm developing a homepage using one.com. When I try to link an image in the homepage to a file in Dropbox, I get the message: 'Element deleted'
This is strange, because I can see the element(file) and also copy the www adress.
Can anyone help me out here? Thanks.

Thanks for posting on the forum, @finnkastel, and welcome aboard!

Can you please describe the exact steps that you’re taking when trying to link your Dropbox files to the website you mention?

Hi Nancy, thank you for supporting me.

On my homepage, allegro-koret.dk, I mark the element called 'Medlemskartotek' from which the user should be directed to a member file. Then I choose EDIT PICTURE,  and SHIFT LINK. After this I have tried with a link from dropbox (but also from the local file manager). Neither of these attempts have succeded.
In my view, I have done this before without any problem.

Thanks for clarifying that!

The link that you mention, did you create it by following the steps outlined here?

Hi Nancy,

I do as described in the link you refer to, but I keep getting the message:

'The element has been deleted'

I don't understand this message, as i can see and can mark the element in question i Dropbox.

Hi @finnkastel, if you open the shared links normally in the browser, does the Dropbox site open without any issues?

Hi Jay,
Yes, normally it works. I have other links to Dropbox from the same page and they work fine.

Only on link doesn't work. Dropbox keeps telling  me that 'Element has been deleted' despite the fact, that I can see the file in Dropbox and I can copy a link from the file.

Could you attach a screenshot showing this error message you're getting when accessing the link via your site?
