ventura sync issue

Hiya,

 

My dropbox is stuck at "indexing 8,.... files" and has been for almost a month. I have reinstalled dropbox, set the permissions in Ventura as requested in the help articles and still nothing.

 

Is this ventura thing a deal breaker for Dropbox? i have been with this company for years ..... .

 Hi Walter,

I was able to resolve the issue by signing out of dropbox, then signing in again. It did a very long manual sync back to the old dropbox folder and then migrated to the new cloud only version mandated by mac os. Thanks for the support. JW

Hi there @jakeysworld, sorry to hear about this.

 

Can you please try fixing your hardlinks and permissions as outlined here and let me know if syncing gets stuck again?

 

If it does, I'd appreciate a screenshot of the app's exact status and version as shown in your menu bar.
