550 SSL/TLS error shows when other software is trying to access the dropbox folder

Hi,

I use a dropbox folder as FTP server for a website. Recently when I try to publish the website, it shows "550 SSL/TLS required on the control channel" and cannot get connected with the server. 

The website editing application is "OpenElement" and I used to successfully publish the website many times. The connection problem appears recently but I did not change any preferences settings. What settings should I check or change both on dropbox and openelement side?

There are no settings in Dropbox for anything like this. The Dropbox folder on your computer is just a regular folder like any other.
