Backup for External HDD - Rewind giving error

I recently realized that all the files on my external HDD were deleted. I had Dropbox backing up the device, so I thought ... no problem. The problem is that when I try to rewind the backup, it gives me an error. I don't even get to select a date. Anyone have any ideas?

You would need an event in order to Rewind to it in the system. If there isn't one, then there wouldn't be an option.

Hi @k10huisen, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

What error do you get exactly when trying to use Dropbox Rewind?

 

Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps?

Thanks. Was using Edge, tried Chrome. It did work better displaying menus and options but when trying to rewind to a specific date, says it an error occurred and to contact support ... heading there tomorrow.

Meant to ask you. When I go past about a week during rewind, it says no activity ( which may be the case) but why can't I rewind to that date?
