Can I see file sizes and if files are local via the site?

DBox app for my DBox Professional account stopped working on my computer today.

How can I see the size of my individual folders/files on the DBox website?

How can I use the DBox website to "see what folders/files that are only partially on my computer"? available online-only. Because it always looks like you have the files on your computer but you don't.

Hi @Kimbl, thanks for messaging the Community!

You can calculate the size of folders on the Dropbox site, and see individual file sizes by following the steps in this article.

Regarding your second query, it isn't possible to see which files are local or online-only via the Dropbox site.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

The size only show individual files. Size is not showing the folder sizes.

How do I know what file is only on my computer and which one is not??

And what is the best solution to fix this problem?

I can not believe Dropbox did this to a Professional acct, without warning them this would happen!

Have you followed the steps to calculate the folder sizes as per the article previously linked?

Without having the Dropbox desktop application installed on the machine in question, it wouldn't be possible to tell which files are stored on that machine, since they could be online-only, or have selective sync enabled.

Could you clarify your last statement about what happened to your account exactly and how it stopped working?

I have tried. Apparently Dbox updated the website because I am finding the same problem as others.. The SIZE option in the dropdown has been removed.

My Dbox application stopped working because Dbox stopped supporting my OS system.

They did not warn me that there would be an update that would screw up my entire sync with Dbox to where I would not know what I have on my computer and what I would have only on Dbox website!

I need help as a Professional acct.

I have been able to access the chat in the past for questions/help, but that has been disabled too!

The Size option hasn't been removed from the Dropbox site. If you're not seeing this, then it might be related to your browser somehow.

As you have a Dropbox Professional account, you can contact the support team directly from this page.
