Can't access any files saved on my Dropbox App PC or Laptop - following Dropbox 'system upgrade'

Dropbox did a system upgrade last night and appears to have rewritten the pathways of all our links. The timing of this is terrible as I downloaded all file I needed for a trip to Milan and now cant access any of the information I need to access  when offline. I have several GB  of important information that I need for this trip and need to be able to access the file when offline (this whole point of having a dropbox app! ugh) - Hows can I quickly rectify this and regain  access to all the project folders I downloaded in my Dropbox app/Laptop windows explorer folders?

I can see all the files and also previews of the files, but when I try to open any files - I just get a message saying "The directory name is invalid"

 

hopefully someone can help me to reinstate these files otherwise I could be stranded in Milan without he information I require to do my job properly!

Hey @KevinLA, thanks for reaching out to our Community.

 

Are you referring to the update of your Dropbox Business structure to the new team space?

 

As for the error message, are you getting this on all files in your Dropbox folder or specific ones?

 

And are the files in question set to online-only or are they available offline?
