Changed file is "deleted" and "added"

What I'm trying to say: whatever that editor really does, I doubt that it has changed (why should there be a change in such a basic thing as saving the edited file?). But the notifications seem to have changed (the whole dropbox app? I didn't see much of it earlier...). Maybe it was even a gap that is closed now. Primarily I want to understand what happened. Then we will see if something could be done about it.

(And by the way: I get notified about things I did myself anyway...)

Did this get resolved for you? Same is happening to me and it's super frustrating. Adobe XD files get deleted on save, and then recreated.  at least for WIndows.  Here's what the version history looks like.  I've opened a ticket with Dropbox, and they can't help me.

This is a huge issue for me because my links to the file break every time  I save.  I need to be able to static link to this file.

oh, this thing... it might be that it really was an editor issue, and it's gone in my case. Sorry for you, though.
